Um richtig Durchschlagskraft zu haben, braucht es natürlich größere finanzielle Mittel und eine relevante Anzahl an Lastenrädern. Ein erfolgreiches Beispiel in Sachen  Flotten-Wachstum ist das Freie Lastenrad [[Hannah]] in Hannover. Dank kommunaler Unterstützung sind inzwischen 18 gut ausgelastete Hannahs unterwegs.
