First choice to cooperate are the municipalities. So your project can get part of the public service. But this might only be a good solution for smaller cities because there it is easier to get in contact with the responsible persons in the authorities.
In addition, 'cooperation with bicycle-related organisations can be a great support for the project, for example:
- your local bike association
- other traffic associations
- local bike dealers
- open fablabs or repair cafés
However, they do not necessarily have to be bicycle-related organisations - we have also had good experience with cooperation with other organisations:
- transition town network
- local attac-groups
- student associations
- community gardening projects
- community centers
- environmental foundations
